Global Legal Hackathon 2022 25-27 March - Worldwide

#GLH2022 Team Option “In recognition of the Ukrainian crisis and ongoing public health response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Global Legal Hackathon is implementing a "virtual team" option for anyone without the ability to participate in-person.”

In the spirit of the innovation and entrepreneurship that the Global Legal Hackathon promotes and fosters, the GLH is adapting to market conditions and offering the option for participants all over the world to form virtual teams. For those who elect to participate virtually, individuals will pitch ideas, form teams, create projects, and work together throughout the entire weekend – all online. Using the GLH technology platform, virtual teams will present their final work for judging by a global panel of distinguish, legal industry leaders.

After registering, those who elect to participate virtually can post project proposals to the GLH technology platform. Just as with in-person participation, on Friday evening during the kickoff of the event, project creators can commence team formation.

As with in-person teams, virtual teams must submit their final project materials by 11:59 PM in the time zone of the project creator. All final project submissions are through the GLH technology platform and may include:

• Pitch/presentation deck

• Link to demo

• Video pitch (5 minutes only)

• Written Description

• Detailed team information

Judging for in-person teams occurs on Sunday evening at the conclusion of the event. Projects submitted by virtual teams will be judged during the week following the event, and the top 10% will move forward to the virtual semifinals.

The judging categories for project submissions for GLH2022 are:

• Access to Justice

• Business of Law

• European Legal Tech Association - Ukraine Challenge

• ESG x Blockchain

It is the responsibility of each team to use the tools and technology of its preference to communicate and collaborate throughout the event.
